This is one of the most profound statements that Prophet Moses mentioned during his lifetime. He knew the importance of God’s presence. The Israelites sinned against God. As their leader, Moses now had the responsibility of standing in gap on their behalf and speaking on their behalf as well in the presence of the Lord. The Israelites had to be identified and known as a people led by their God but how would it be possible if the Israelites had walked out of the presence of God?

Moses understood that the only thing that set him and the Hebrew people apart was the presence of God. Whether you are employed, doing business, serving in ministry or in whatever place God has placed you; the only thing that sets you apart is the presence of God. To date we have so many gifted people, people with great oratory skills yet without God’s presence all they are doing will come to naught. It is only as God leads us and works through us that we can become the fragrance of Jesus in our sphere of influence. Desire to carry God’s presence wherever you may go.
