The Power is already inside of you.

Peter, along with John, looked at him intently and said, So he turned to them, expecting to get something from them. But Peter said, This scripture shows the level of boldness that one can have especially when they are confident of what is inside of them. When Peter met the lame man at the temple gate he did not just feel sorry for him and pass by. Peter did not just throw a coin in his hands. He looked at him intently as he activated the power within him for action. Peter was not going to pray and ask God to heal the lame man, No! Peter knew the will of God over this man and he already had something for the man within his reach. What can give any man this kind of boldness unless if he is aware of the divine power that is within him. Since Jesus had given them the instruction to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers he knew that he already had the power within him. Besides, Jesus had already said: “Behold I give you power”, therefore all that Peter had to do was to release the power within him to address a need. Jesus has already released the power you need to do great exploits. It is already in you!
